Rules
These are the site's Rules. They apply for all the boards of the site unless stated otherwise.
1) No rudeness/fighting.
Be polite at all times. If you disagree with another member, calmly discuss it or say you don't want to fight and leave the thread / stop talking to the member. If someone if being rue to you, report it. REPORT any fights you see on the site, even if staff are involved in them. Remember, staff are NOT above the law!
2) No plagiarising/stealing other people's stuff.
Plagiarising means take (the work or an idea of someone else) and pass it off as one's own/copy from (someone) in such a way. [definition taken from the online Dictionary.]
In other words, plagiarising is when you take someone else's work [could be a graphic, could be a poem, could be a bio outline--anything that belongs to and was made by them] without their permission, claim it as your own, or don't give credit to them. This is not allowed on here. People work hard on their art and writing, and stealing it from them is just unfair.
Breaking this rule will result in a suspension or even a ban!
3) No forceplaying, invinciblemaking or staffplaying.
Forceplaying is when your character grabs, wounds, kills or otherwise does anything to someone else's character without giving them a chance to avoid the blow or without the character's player's prior permission. Also, playing someone else's character is not allowed. To avoid breaking this rule, you can use words like 'tried' or 'attempted' or 'planned'.
Invinciblemaking is when you make your character avoid all opponent's blows in a fight, or have them survive extremely difficult situations more than once. This is unrealistic and not allowed. A character can not NOT get hit in a fight--he/she will have to get wounded eventually.
Staffplaying is when you tell members what to do and pretend you're staff when you're not. Don't worry-mods will know when to warn a member if needed. You just need to hit the 'report to mod' button! Reports are anonymous to members, and if you made a mistake, no one will get in trouble. If the member actually broke a rule, staff will explain things nicely to them unless they were already warned several times. Another way to let staff know about rulebreaks is to pm them. Just don't scold the member if you're not staff!
4) No advertising outside your signature.
Don't spam threads telling people to join your Clans, roleplays or sites. It's just annoying, and people don't like random ads to spoil their roleplay time. Don't do it!
5) No profanity or cussing.
Inapropiate talk, cussing and saying hurtful things is against the rules and might get you banned. It in unfair to other members, especially younger ones- no one wants to be on a site on which they are yelled at, and they aren't on here to learn to swear.
This includes religion or politics! It is a touchy subject, and not mentioning it is the best way to avoid arguments. Remember, people have every right to have different beliefs and opinions.
This is an important rule, and if you choose not to follow it you will be warned. If the offence is repeated, staff also have the right to ban or suspend you!
6) No posting anything inappropriate!
Gross images, anything about sex, disgusting graphics or vides etc... will, in most cases, result in a ban. No roleplaying mating scenes (not even by PM!) and no gory or scary pictures. Breaking this rule is highly disrespectful to all, and absolutely NOT tolerated!
7) NO HARASSING.
We are a very tolerant website. Intolerance towards the LGBTQA community, bullying or any form of harassment are absolutely NOT accepted. Even first offences may result in suspensions, depending on their nature. If someone does something you don't like, either talk politely about it or contact a staff member.
People are on here to have fun, not to be treated like dirt, and Ii you cannot show respect to other members, you will simply lose the privilege to use this website.
8) No unrealism.
No being unrealistic: no ten-metre-long fur, no one-inch feet, no orange, scaly cats and no rainbow-coloured faces. Just... don't make your cats have any features that wouldn't exist in real life. That's pretty much all there is to it
*** these are subject to change. please check back regularly. any major changes will be announced by staff.
